Lagos State Government Bust Car Theft

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, Tactical Team Isheri, have effectively broken up a car theft syndicate by apprehending four suspects and recovering a stolen Toyota Hiace Bus.

A statement issued by CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, indicates that on August 1, a report was received regarding a suspected car theft case involving one Salisu Ibrahim Abdullahi ‘m’ aged 31.

‘’Acting swiftly on the report, detectives deployed intelligence-driven techniques which led to the arrest of the principal suspect, Salisu Ibrahim Abdullahi, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Further investigation led to the arrest of three accomplices: Yenusa Salihu ‘m’ aged 45, a mechanic; Baba Jero Idris ‘m’ aged 49, a car dealer; and Abdullahi Aliyu ‘m’ aged 41, a businessman. All three were apprehended in Kano State, and the operation also resulted in the recovery of the stolen grey Toyota Hiace bus in the same location. The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of the ongoing investigation.””

Hundeyin stated that the state Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, praised the operatives for their prompt and intelligence-driven approach that led to the dismantling of the car theft syndicate. He reassured residents and visitors of Lagos State that the Command will continue to employ advanced policing strategies to combat vehicle theft and ensure that criminal elements are brought to justice.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
