Toyin Abraham Speaks Out In Defense Of Iyabo Ojo Amid Concerns Over Reactions

Toyin Abraham, a Nollywood actress and producer, has promised to stand up for her coworker Iyabo Ojo in the face of persistent cyberbullying and harassment.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Toyin stated that she has been praying for Iyabo Ojo and wishing for an end to the attacks.

The actress stated that she is willing to stand up for her colleague and that she hopes no one would criticize her for exaggerating the situation.

“Aunty mi, Aunty Iyabo… I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop. But they didn’t. Now, I’m about to react, and I pray the world won’t call it ‘overreacting.’ Because this time, I’m going to OVERDO it. Not just as a mum… but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go,” she wrote.

Iyabo Ojo has revealed that she purposefully chose to ignore Lizzy Anjorin in spite of the frequent taunts, death threats, and curses aimed at her family and grandson.

Iyabo Ojo and her family, especially her grandson Rakeem Mkambala, had been the target of continual taunts and abuses from Lizzy.

The actress said in an Instagram post on Sunday that she had frequently found it difficult to remain composed and disregard the distraction due to God.

Iyabo said that her legal team is taking care of the matter and getting her ready for the fight, stressing that she needs to give her full attention to helping her daughter, Priscillia, navigate parenthood and filling the void.

The movie actor went on to say that as soon as Lizzy gets back to Lagos, the problem will be resolved.
