As our dear nation marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, this milestone is not merely a celebration of the passage of years, but a testament to our collective unity, resilience, diversity, and shared progress as a people. Despite daunting challenges, Nigerians have continued to show strength, hope, and determination in shaping a brighter future for generations to come.
We in Itire Ikate LCDA recognize and deeply appreciate the patience and sacrifices of Nigerians during this period of ongoing economic reforms. While the journey has not been without its trials, we are confident that the worst is behind us. Today, our economy is stabilizing and gradually strengthening, positioning Nigeria to take her rightful place among the leading nations of the world.
We commend the purposeful and impactful leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose Renewed Hope Agenda has become a beacon of transformation and national rebirth. We equally acknowledge the remarkable strides of our Governor, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, through the THEMES+ Agenda, which has greatly advanced infrastructural development, service delivery, and governance in Lagos State. Together, their leadership is charting a new course for peace, prosperity, and progress across the country.
As we celebrate this Independence Day, we urge all Nigerians to remain steadfast, prayerful, and united in our shared commitment to building a nation that truly works for everyone. The responsibility of national development rests on us all, and only in unity can we overcome challenges and achieve greatness.
