Mr Eazi Shares His Political Aspirations

The Afrobeats artist and businessman Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name as Mr. Eazi, has spoken candidly about his future political goals.

The “Skin Tight” singer, who just wed Temi Otedola, the daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, stated in a Snapchat video broadcast that he plans to run for president soon.

He revealed that he has been thinking about becoming president of an African nation for some time.

“I have been thinking about it. I think it’s time to share it with you guys. Some of you might be from some country, specifically in Africa, and you are looking for a president; a president who is not looking for money and power but forward-thinking, young, active and can move your country better.

“So, I’m officially putting myself forward for the presidency,” he declared.

Although Mr. Eazi was born in Nigeria, he has a strong bond with Ghana, where he studied and began his musical career.

According to reports, he claimed that Ghana had an influence on his music, which he dubbed “Banku music.”

More Nigerian celebrities have entered elected and appointed office in recent years.

Wishing Mr Eazi the very best as he pursues his ambitions. May his journey be successful and filled with positive impact!

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
