PROTECT OUR FUTURE: POLIO IMMUNIZATION CAMPAIGN

A Message from the Executive Chairman, Itire-Ikate LCDA

Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As part of our efforts to safeguard the health and well-being of our children, I am pleased to announce that the Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area will conduct a polio immunization campaign from Saturday, November 8th, to Tuesday, November 11th, 2025.

During this period, our dedicated health workers will visit every household in our community to administer polio vaccines to children under 59 months. This effort aims to protect our children from the debilitating effects of polio, which can lead to lifelong paralysis, disability, and even death. Polio immunization is crucial in preventing the spread of the disease and ensuring a healthier future for our children.

I urge all parents and guardians to take advantage of this opportunity and ensure that their children receive the polio vaccine.

Together, we can protect our children and build a healthier community. Let us join hands to make Itire-Ikate LCDA a polio-free zone!

Immunization Details:

  • Dates: Saturday, 8th November to Tuesday, 11th November 2025
  • Target Group: Children 0-59 months.

Let’s protect our children and secure their future!

Thank you for your cooperation and support.

E-signed:
Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel
Executive Chairman, Itire-Ikate LCDA
