Ned Nwoko Reveals Betrayal Despite Spending Millions To Support Regina’s Family

Senator Ned Nwoko, a billionaire politician and businessman, has finally spoken out about his marital problems with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.

In a long statement, he accused her family and close friends of undermining her efforts to get well. Nwoko said on a verified social media account that Regina’s brother, Sammy West, and a few of her friends exposed her to illicit substances and continuously thwarted attempts to assist her in overcoming her addiction.

The Delta North Senator claimed in the statement that Sammy and his friends frequently “defied medical advice” by going to Regina without permission and carrying narcotics when she was receiving treatment.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around,” Nwoko wrote.

“This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, and even transferred ₦125 million to their mother, Rita Daniels, in the last two years.”

“Instead of helping her recover, they encouraged her addiction and completely frustrated the efforts of doctors and therapists. Lawrence, Sammy, Destiny, and others also took the same drugs as Regina and even supplied them to her,” he alleged.

“On one occasion, she left the house and didn’t return until 9 a.m., saying she was at a nightclub. When I asked why, she said, ‘You are not my father, so don’t ask me where I was,’” he recounted.

Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover, only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends. Each time progress was made, they would undo it by smuggling in the same drugs she was fighting to give up,” Nwoko said.

He denied allegations that he sent thugs to assault Regina, insisting that the viral video of her being taken away was filmed “in front of my house in my absence.”

“Nobody was beaten. It’s false to say that I sent thugs to beat Regina in another house. The video that went viral was filmed entirely in front of my property by Regina’s sister and her friend. It was a pure Nollywood scenario,” he added.

“Sammy has since been arrested several times by both the police and EFCC. What he needs now is total rehabilitation and professional guidance,” Nwoko concluded.
