No Igbo Will Have Peace Until Nnamdi Kanu Regains Freedom – Obi Cubana Tells Tinubu

Entrepreneur Obi Cubana has openly called upon President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to step in and help facilitate the liberation of the imprisoned leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), whose name is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK).

This well-known public figure maintains that attaining true harmony and steadiness within the Igbo community depends entirely on Kanu’s liberation from custody. Through a message posted on his various social media platforms, Obi Cubana expressed sorrow over the increasing atmosphere of danger and turmoil throughout the entire nation.

He highlighted a number of lately occurring disturbing occurrences, such as the classification of Nigeria by the United States as a “Country of Particular Concern,” the widespread abductions of pupils in multiple regions, assaults on religious sites, the murder of a high-ranking military officer like a Brigadier General, and the judicial punishment handed down to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in person. He wrapped up by noting that all these happenings have placed the nation in a state filled with anxiety and concern.

Obi Cubana revealed that he along with additional notable citizens of Nigeria have participated in conversations with important governmental leaders, which include the Deputy Speaker from the House of Representatives as well as the son of the President, focusing on vital matters affecting the country as a whole.

He clarified the primary stance held by the Igbo community: “One thing is very clear: no Igbo man or woman will have peace if MNK does not regain his freedom, and Ala Igbo will never be the same again.” He recognized the elevated levels of feelings involved, declaring, “Tempers are high, but we all want MNK out, and we will never rest until he is free.”

“Constructive agitations remain the bedrock upon which great societies are built, but solutions will only be found at the negotiation table.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
