Reasons Behind The Rejection Of Shows For Champz – Wizkid’s Babymama, Shola

The mother of Wizkid’s 14-year-old son Boluwatife, better known by his stage name Champz, Shola Ogudu, has provided an explanation for her decision to decline the multiple show invitations her son received after the publication of his debut EP, “Champion’s Arrival.”

Ogudu made the following remarks on X:

“We want to sincerely thank everyone for the countless show invitations and for considering Champz. It really means a lot to us. However, due to his age, we’ve had to prioritise his development over live performances at this time. That’s why we’ve had to decline these bookings. We truly appreciate the understanding and continued support from everyone who believes in him.”

It’s officially one month of ‘Champion’s Arrival’ and the journey so far has been nothing short of amazing. Charting across countries, crossing 1M Spotify listeners, pulling in millions of streams, and becoming a top album in under five hours; I’m honestly grateful for every moment and for everyone riding with me. Humbled, motivated, and ready for whatever comes next. This is only the beginning. So help
me God.”
