Babcock University Cracks Down on Student Attire: No More Baggy Trousers or Dreadlocks

Babcock University has introduced a new dress code for students, effective from the second semester of January 2026. The rules prohibit male students from having voluminous or unkempt hair, beards, or dreadlocks, while female students are barred from wearing extreme, indecent, or inconsistent hairstyles.

The university’s management has also banned various clothing items, including:
– *Prohibited Clothing*
– Body-hugging outfits
– Sleeveless blouses or dresses
– Sagging, baggy, boot-cut, or over-length trousers
– Joggers, sportswear, or walk-out wear
– Bùbù and Dànsíkí outfits during restricted hours
– *Hair Regulations*
– Hair passes are now invalid
– Students must discontinue use of hair passes immediately

The university warns that possession of prohibited items on campus will attract disciplinary action, and ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse.
