Nollywood star Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, also known as Omo Sexy, marked her 48th birthday on social media with a touching post that combined humility, gratitude for her team, and spiritual reflection.
The actress, a trailblazer in African cinema with over three decades in the industry, described the day as “eventful” and “overwhelmingly mind-blowing,” marked by “one surprise to another surprise.”
In her X post, which garnered over 16,800 likes in mere hours, Jalade-Ekeinde invoked Isaiah 40:31 from the Bible: “Those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
Echoing Psalm 8, she pondered, “Who am I that you are So Mindful of me Lord,” before affirming, “I am Very Grateful, Lord!”
