From Bondage to Stardom: Adeniyi’s Emotional Reflection At His Childhood Home

Nollywood star Adeniyi Johnson has sparked strong feelings on social media after returning to a home that represents a significant period of his life—the exact location where he painted before becoming famous.

A flashback photo of himself and others on the work from years ago was posted by the Yoruba movie star on his Instagram page.

Adeniyi claims that he was recently brought back to the same house by fate—not with paint buckets, but as an actor on a movie shoot, and the event filled him with emotion.

In his words:
“I went to shoot in the same house where I was a painter, and I couldn’t control my tears!! I was there as a slave and now as a king.

Everyone wants a selfie.
The green line is pointing at me!!
That was me year 2000/2001, when I was a painter!
The story has changed today, and God is glorified!
Na who give up fuck up o.
Keep the faith alive!
God’s is good.
Thanks to my friend who sent his on WhatsApp!!
He isn’t on IG”.
