In response to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of the hiring of 1,000 forest guards in Oyo State, Nasboi wrote to the president, urging his government to implement comparable security measures in other regions of the nation.
His response follows allegations that the President authorized the deployment of forest guards in Oyo in an attempt to address the state’s insecurity and free kidnapped teachers and children.
His words;
“Dear President BOLA AHMED TINUBU
If the government has provided 1000 forest guards in the oyo community.
What about borno? Zamfara?
Osun? Kebbi?
Niger delta, NIGERIA?
At this point, the entire country needs security.”
People are no longer interested in mere promises or empty words; they want tangible action. They deserve to live and work freely without the constant fear for their lives.
It is time for genuine change—where safety, security, and freedom are accessible to all. Only then can a nation truly thrive, and its people’s hopes and dreams be realized without the shadow of insecurity hanging over them.
