Terseer Waya, also known as Kiddwaya, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has generated controversy on the internet after making remarks about British colonization in Nigeria.
The reality TV star claimed in a post on his X social media page that Nigeria would have developed more if the British had stayed in the nation for an extra ten to fifteen years before granting independence.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and differing perspectives are part of a healthy dialogue. Despite current challenges, Nigeria’s resilience and potential remain strong. With unity, determination, and collective effort, Nigeria will rise again and achieve the greatness it deserves.
