Kalu Inspires Nigerian Youths To Lead The Way In Shaping Nigeria’s Future

I’m Not Sure Nigerians Are Ready For President Of Igbo Extraction – Kalu

Orji Uzor Kalu, a former governor of Abia State and senator from Abia North, has called on young Nigerians to actively participate in the country’s development, emphasizing the need for increased opportunities and empowerment.

In a statement to commemorate International Youth Day in 2026, Kalu claimed that Nigerian youth had the ingenuity, bravery, and tenacity needed to make a significant contribution to the nation’s advancement.

While acknowledging the difficulties that many young Nigerians face, he reassured them that their potential is still vital to Nigeria’s future and asked them not to give up.

“I understand that these are not easy times for many young Nigerians, but I urge you not to lose hope.

“Nigeria believes in your potential, and we must continue working to create greater opportunities and an environment where every young person can thrive.”

“Our youths are not only leaders of tomorrow; you are important partners and leaders in the Nigeria of today.”

“Keep believing in yourselves. Keep working hard. Keep hope alive. The challenges of today will not define your tomorrow.”

When the older generation fails to provide the youth with opportunities to lead and contribute to the nation’s development, it becomes imperative for the youth to take matters into their own hands. They can engage in self-education, acquire new skills, and participate in community initiatives to create positive change. By uniting with like-minded peers and advocating for their rights, the youth can foster innovation and push for leadership roles.

Ultimately, when the older generation withholds chances, it is the resilience, creativity, and determination of the youth that can drive Nigeria towards a brighter and more inclusive future.
