Adeosun Shares Her Vision Of A Dignified Goodbye

Kemi Adeosun, a former minister of finance, has stated that she would prefer to pass away quietly in her sleep, just like her late husband, Adeniyi Adeosun.

Adeosun revealed the information on Thursday at her husband’s funeral service. Her husband passed away on August 5 at the age of 62.

The former minister paid tribute to her husband and said she was still finding it difficult to accept his passing, especially since he had not displayed any symptoms prior to his unexpected demise.

She recalled that after years of being frugal with money, the couple had recently made the decision to live life to the fullest. She said they were going to travel every three months and spend more time together.

“This year would have been 33 years of our wedding anniversary. We had a meeting, the two of us, and we said now every three months, we’re just going to be travelling, we spend all the money.”

“We’ve been so sensible that it’s time for us to enjoy ourselves.”

“I’m heartbroken. I’ve found it difficult to believe that this actually happened. But at the same time, I’m very thankful.”

“He wasn’t sick. He simply went to sleep and didn’t wake up… that’s the way I’d like to go,” she said.

Losing someone close to you is one of the most painful experiences in life; it’s never easy to say goodbye to someone you hold dear. The grief and heartache can feel overwhelming, but we find solace in the memories and the love shared. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
