Raheem Okoya’s Son Bows Out Of The Music Industry

Raheem, also known by his stage name Sir Raheem and son of billionaire Razaq Okoya, has announced his decision to step away from his music career.

He made the revelation through an Instagram post on Wednesday, explaining that he no longer feels capable of dedicating the necessary effort, patience, and passion to his craft.

Reflecting on his journey, Raheem described his musical experience as “magical,” noting that he and his team frequently captivated audiences online and performed at unforgettable live events. He expressed gratitude for the recognition he received from artists he admired growing up.

What started as a hobby among friends to bond and connect eventually became a career for him. However, balancing music with his other commitments over the past year has become increasingly challenging.

Raheem stated, “I’ve always believed in giving my all, but I now realize I can’t give this craft the full dedication it deserves.” As a result, he has decided to officially exit the music scene, vowing not to release any new music for now.

He hinted at exploring other creative avenues, with plans to return with fresh ventures in the future. Despite stepping away, he emphasized that music remains a therapeutic outlet and hinted at the possibility of sharing some of the best material he’s created during this period someday.

“I believe I’m sitting on some of the best work of my career,” he said. “It would be a shame not to share it someday.”

We wish Raheem all the best as he embarks on this new chapter, hoping he finds success and fulfillment in whatever path he chooses next.
