President Tinubu Begins Three-Week European Retreat Amid Rising Political Activity

President Bola Tinubu has commenced a three-week holiday in Europe, beginning with a visit to London, United Kingdom. The announcement was made by his Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Sunday.

According to Onanuga, President Tinubu left Abuja today to enjoy his annual leave, with London serving as his initial destination. He is expected to return promptly after the vacation to focus on the intense campaign efforts for the upcoming January 2027 general elections.

The statement highlighted that the President’s return will be immediate following his European sojourn, as he prepares to re-engage with the political activities ahead of the election season.

However, details regarding his specific plans or itinerary in London and other potential destinations remain undisclosed.
As Nigeria gears up for the electoral process, the timing of President Tinubu’s trip coincides with heightened political mobilization by various candidates and parties.

We wish President Tinubu a safe and successful journey, hoping he returns refreshed and in good health. Safe travels to him and his team.
