Tinubu Will Lose Before 8AM On Election Day — ADC Chieftain Modibbo Predicts Landslide Win for Atiku in 2027

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ibrahim Modibbo, has made a bold prediction ahead of the 2027 presidential election, declaring that President Bola Tinubu will be defeated “before 8 o’clock on the day of the election.”

Modibbo made the statement on Friday night during an appearance on AIT’s Democracy Today, where he expressed confidence in the electoral strength of the ADC presidential candidate, *Atiku Abubakar*.

The opposition politician argued that Atiku’s political experience and nationwide structure give him an unmatched advantage over other contenders, including the incumbent President.

*“Atiku is one politician today that can’t be rivalled by any politician including the president. Let me repeat, President Bola Tinubu will be defeated before 8 o’clock on the day of the election,”* Modibbo said.

He did not provide polling data or other evidence to back the prediction, presenting it as his personal assessment of the political contest ahead.

The ADC chieftain also aimed at the *Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike*, accusing him of using public resources for political activities.

“He is taking public money to spend on politics, talking about the president,” Modibbo alleged.

He further questioned Wike’s grasp of national politics, saying the FCT minister’s experience is limited to his home state.

“He doesn’t know anything about the politics of the North and Nigeria; the only knowledge he has is the politics of Rivers,” he added.

The comments come as political parties begin early mobilisation for 2027. Earlier on Friday, ADC vice-presidential candidate *Rotimi Amaechi* also challenged Nigerians to choose between voting for Tinubu or Atiku, citing hardship from fuel subsidy removal.

With over a year to the elections, both ADC leaders are positioning Atiku as the alternative to the APC government.
