Cuppy, a billionaire heiress and DJ, has talked candidly about the anxieties and pressures she faced early in her career, acknowledging that she was once incredibly in need of approval, attention, and significance.
The performer claims that there was a period when she yearned for the attention and influence that came with being in the spotlight and worried about being significant all the time.
“I was so desperate for validation in a lot of the start of my career. I wanted to be relevant. I was scared of not being important. I craved clout,” she admitted.
“Now I’m just in a place of peace. It reminds me of a verse in the Bible, Galatians 1:10. Am I really and truly trying to please people, or am I actually trying to please God? Because if I was people-pleasing, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
“And so that is how I live my life now, and yeah, it’s working out for me. I no longer care what people think.”
Ultimately, fair pay doesn’t always mean identical pay. Experience, seniority, and the value each person brings can all influence compensation. Just as a newcomer may not earn the same as a veteran, actors’ pay can reasonably differ according to their roles and contributions. That’s why Kanayo’s position deserves consideration: fairness should be the goal, not necessarily equal pay for everyone.
