President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the death of Angela Nwaka Folarin, wife of Senator Teslim Folarin.
A statement signed by Femi Adesina, the President’s spokesman, said Buhari extended his heartfelt condolences to Folarin, the lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District; his children, family members and friends.
“The President’s prayers and thoughts are with the Folarins as they grieve the departure of a beloved wife and mother, urging them to find solace and strength in the truth that the Almighty God is always with us through the good and difficult seasons of life,” the statement added.
Barrister Angela Folarin died on Friday afternoon in the United Kingdom.
Folarin, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the Oyo senatorial election in 2019.
