According to the LAPD, two acquaintances were arguing in the Hollywood neighbourhood of Los Angeles on November 6th. “The argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim. The victim sustained a minor injury from the incident and later sought his medical treatment. Following the shooting, the suspect and two additional males fled the area on foot.

“The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Rakim Mayers, a Los Angeles resident, also known as music artist A$AP Rocky.”

Rocky was accused of shooting at a man numerous times, with at least one bullet grazing his left hand, according to the alleged victim.

Officers searched his residence for evidence after he was arrested.

Multiple firearms were discovered in A$AP Rocky’s residence, according to TMZ. However, it’s unclear whether cops secured the gun used to shoot the victim during a fight in Hollywood.

Detectives will conduct ballistic tests on the firearms to determine if Rocky was the triggerman, according to law enforcement sources.

According to the arrest report acquired by HollywoodLife, he was accused with a felony and freed on $550,000 bail by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Following his release, HollywoodLife spoke with Lara Yeretsian, a LA-based criminal defense attorney, who stated that if convicted, he may face up to 14 years in prison for this felony offense.
