Wizkid And Tems Billed To Perform At ‘Essence Festival’ 2022

Grammy award winning singer, Wizkid and raving Nigerian songbird, Tems have been billed to perform at the 2022 EssenceFest.

Wizkid, officially called Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun and Tems, originally known as Temilade Openiyi would be performing alongside the biggest names at the Essence festival of culture.

The duo will be performing alongside Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart and more. The festival is set to take place in New Orleans from Friday, June 30 2022 to Sunday, 3rd July, 2022.

Meanwhile; Afrobeats singing sensation, Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, known within the showboz circles as Camidoh has attained another career milestone.

The award winning singer and entertainer, Camidoh with vocal assistance from his Ghanaian brother, King Promise alongside Nigeira’s Mayorkun and Darkoo blessed the airwaves with the remix to his hit single; “Sugarcane” with assistance.

‘Sugarcane Remix’ which was released on on Friday, April 8, 2022 has been well accepted among his fans as well as music enthusiast across the globe. The tune has surpassed over 3 million and 4 million on Audiomack and Boomplay respectively.

After peaking at number on Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria on Thursday, May 5, 2022, ‘Sugarcane Remix’ today, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 is currently occupying the number one spot on Apple Music Top 100 Uganda. Screenshot below.
