PSG Finally Parts Ways With Mauricio Pochettino

Mauricio Pochettino and Paris Saint-Germain have apparently reached an agreement to part ways this summer.

Following a meeting last week, PSG and Pochettino agreed to part ways, according to The Athletic.

According to reports, both sides have agreed to end the Argentine’s contract eighteen months after he took charge of the Parisians.

Pochettino will leave the Ligue 1 champions after failing to win the Champions League last season.

PSG won the French Ligue 1 title last season but were knocked out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 by Real Madrid.

According to the report, Nice coach Christopher Galtier is the frontrunner to succeed Pochettino at PSG.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho of AS Roma has been mentioned as a possible successor to the former Tottenham manager.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
