Adoration Ministry Shutdown: Nigerian Man Threatens The Catholic Church With His Loyalty

Akanchawa Orba, a Nigerian man, has stated that he will not attend mass in any Catholic church until Rev. Fr. Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry has been reinstated.

He said, “I will not worship at Catholic Church again until Rev. Fr Mbaka is called back and adoration ministry is reopened.”

He wrote this on his Facebook account following Fr Mbaka’s decision to indefinitely close his adoration ministry.

Following the instruction from the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Calistus Onaga, to go on a one-month retreat, the Catholic priest had announced the closure of the Adoration Ministry.

Recall how the priest criticized Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, as being too stingy and unfit to serve as Nigeria’s next president.

Following the public outburst, Onaga rebuked Mbaka and ordered the suspension of his ministry until the Diocese’s appropriate canonical process was being carried out.
