Death refers to the end of life, we all go through this sad occurrence, and it is unavoidable. Donald Rumsfeld has died at the age of 88. He served as US defense secretary from 1975 to 1977 under President Gerald Ford, and again from January 2001 to December 2006 under President George W Bush.

The prominent Republican was very involved in the decision to invade Afghanistan and Iraq as part of the US response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

A statement from his family said he died surrounded by loved ones in Taos, New Mexico, and praised his “six decades of public service”.

We are deeply saddened by the loss that Donald’s family  have encountered.
Our deepest sympathies go out to his loved ones. May God give you the peace that you seek at this crucial time.
