Christian Couples Shouldn’t Watch P*rn – Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi, a self-proclaimed life coach, has stated that Christian couples shouldn’t watch p*rn to learn about s*x.

Buchi expressed his opinion on his X account, saying that p*rn is “demonic” and that any couple that views it will be ruining their marriage.

He claims that viewing p*rn is an act of infidelity.

He wrote in his post on X: “A Christian couple shouldn’t be watching p*rn to learn s*x. You can’t learn s*x in its sanctity from depraved expressions. You can’t learn to please God from the devil. P*rn is demonic; it is the perversion of s*x. You’re destroying your marriage, and that’s infidelity.

“Oftentimes, we attribute infidelity to one partner cheating on the other. However, watching p*rn together as a couple or engaging in s*xual acts that include a third party, is unfaithfulness to God, because a godly marriage consists of three people: you, your partner and God.

“So in all you do, you must be faithful to Jesus. I understand the conversation around porn helping people with their s*xual lives, but again, how do you learn how to be clean from a dirty pig?

“So you, a Christian, are watching two non-Christians committing fornication in such an unrealistic and distorted way, to learn sacred s*x in your marriage? This is not morally consistent according to biblical precepts. You can’t save your marriage with sin.

“P*rn destroys; in fact, I daresay that if you watch p*rn together as a couple, you may cheat on each other, because it boils down to a lack of bridling amoral desires. P*rn perverts: that is not s*x. It is a skewed marketable model of s*x. It is evil.

“For couples who might not have a great s*x life, but I think it can be pretty simpler than p*rn. Have conversations. Prioritize your partner’s pleasure. Be patient; let your spiritual fruits be expressed even during s*x.

“But if it’s much more complicated, see a s*x therapist. In the end, we suffer all these because we’ve fed our minds with evil, so much so that we justify our need to fulfil unclean desires. If we all obey God and marry as virgins and chaste people, we’d have fewer issues.

“What you do in your bedroom matters even if you’re married. There are redlines you must not cross if holiness in marriage matters to you. Marriage is honourable bed undefiled and that includes not watching p*rn, not masturbating or using s*x toys that make your spouse dispensable.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
