“I feel Sorry For Ten Hag And Ronaldo” – Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand, a former player for Manchester United, says he feels bad for Cristiano Ronaldo and new manager Erik ten Hag.

He pointed out that the club’s lack of activity in the transfer market this summer has already dashed the hopes of Ten Hag and Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Saturday, as he saw his team crumble in front of him, the Dutch coach appeared powerless and lost.

Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee, and Bryan Mbeumo all scored goals to hand the Red Devils their second loss in their first two games this season.

Manchester United lost its opening game against Brighton in a 2-1 defeat.

According to Rio, “I feel sorry for Ten Hag.

“He’s come in under false pretences. He’s come in expecting new signings.

“People are moaning at Cristiano Ronaldo but he’s sitting there thinking, ‘I’m expecting new signings as well.’

“Now he’s [Ten Hag] probably sitting there thinking ‘I’ve been sold a dummy here, I didn’t know I was coming into this’.”

Ten Hag joined Manchester United at the conclusion of the previous season after leading Ajax to the Dutch league title.

Since he arrived at the club, only three players have been signed. Christian Eriksen, who came as a free agent, Lisandro Martinez from Ajax, and Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.
