“Port Harcourt was a nice crowd,” Reno Omokri Commends Movement For Peter Obi

Reno Omokri, a former presidential adviser, has praised Peter Obi’s followers for the 5-million-man march that took place on Saturday in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, in support of their candidate for president in 2023.

All social media platforms are currently trending with pictures and videos of the Port Harcourt march as supporters of the former governor of Anambra State stormed the Garden City.

Reno, a staunch critic of Obi, responded by praising the party’s supporters, known as Obidients, for their admirable efforts.

Reno, however, pushed them to stage a similar demonstration in Southeast when the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ordered a sit-at-home protest.

He wrote, “Port Harcourt was a nice crowd, although we have seen much, much larger mammoth crowds for the PDP in Adamawa and Calabar, to mention a few.

“Nevertheless, it is still a commendable effort. However, let me recommend a crowd-pulling strategy to Peter Obi. When next IPOB declares a sit at home, let the Obidient movement organise a rally. Or are the Obidient movement afraid of IPOB?

“In fact, Peter Obi has never defied IPOB by personally organising activities during their sit at homes in the Southeast. If he refuses to defy IPOB in his backyard, how can he withstand Nigeria’s security challenges? A man who obeys IPOB sit at home wants to sit in Aso Rock. No be juju be that”?

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
