This is a week of breakthrough and we are being called to move mountains. And that includes any obstacle that stands in the way of God’s will, plan and purpose for us.
It is the character of the devil to magnify our challenges, attempting to turn molehills into mountains in order to drain our psyche. But God wants to turn our mountains into nothing. He wants us to beat down our obstacles and flatten our Goliaths like David did. It all starts with our attitude and the words we use. God has given us the ability to speak boldly and command those mountains to be removed. We should never forget that God honours what we say and that in fact, life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
This is one week therefore, wherein we must effectively and rightly engage our tongues knowing that our very lives and destinies depend on it. We must speak mountains out of the way and daily proclaim that we are bathed in fresh oil of grace. Anxieties, cares and worries must take the back seat just as we allow faith, hope and fresh positive perspectives take centre stage.
