35-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allowing His Dog To Drive His Car

Jerusalem authorities have detained a man who allowed his dog to drive his automobile around the street of the city.

The 35-year-old resident of the Arab town of Ein Naqquba, west of the Israeli city, is expected to be charged with reckless driving after the incident.

On Monday, September 5, a video, showing the dog on the steering of the car, went viral on Israeli WhatsApp groups, getting the attention of the Israel’s Central Traffic Unit.

As a result of this, the police began searching for the dog’s owner and tracked him down.

The police said in the statement, “The suspect behaved in a reckless and improper manner when he let his dog hold onto the steering wheel, thereby endangering road users.

“He then went on to share footage of the dangerous act which reached the police. Whoever does such things is playing with human lives. We will continue to work to enforce and prosecute serious traffic violations.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
