Erling Haaland Wins Premier League Player Of The Month

Erling Haaland, a recent addition to the Manchester City squad, has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August.

The Norwegian forward cost Mann City £51 million to sign him from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

He scored nine goals in his first five games in August before adding another one in early September, making it ten goals in his first six Premier League games.

The 22-year-old striker scored twice in his league debut against West Ham United, once at Newcastle United, and then three times in two games against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest to help City win four of their first five games.

The Norwegian outperformed other nominees like Aleksandar Mitrovic of Fulham and the Arsenal strikers Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard to win the prize.
