Young Man Kills His Brother In The Process Of Testing Bullet Proof Charm

On Sunday, October 2, police in Kwara state launched a search for one Abubakar Abubakar, in connection with the death of his 12-year-old brother, Yusuf Abubakar, both sons of one Abubakar Abubakar, a hunter in Dutse Gogo town.

According to the police’s earlier investigation, the unfortunate incident occurred as Abubakar was checking the effectiveness of his just-acquired gunshot protective charm.

The spokesperson for the command, SP Okansanmi Ajay said, “This incident happened after fortifying themselves with the protective charm, the elder son brought his father’s dane gun and shot his younger sibling, the charm failed and the 12year old Yusuf Abubakar died on the spot.

“The culprit escaped into the bushes immediately the act was committed.”

The police spokesperson continued by saying that the investigation into the incident has started as ordered by CP Paul Odama, the commissioner of police for the state of Kwara.

He urged parents and teachers to keep an eye on their children’s activities and to refrain from engaging in certain odious behaviours while their children or students are watching to avoid situations of this kind.
