It was reported last weekend that Bimbo who has continuously accused her husband of subjecting her to domestic abuse, died from burn injuries she sustained last week.

Peter Okoye who seemingly reacted to the report, stated that people should not stay in any marriage that will lead to death.

The singer also stated that there is a big difference between “being married” and “living married”.

Peter Okoye further advised that people should learn to walk away from their marriages when it’s not working.

In a normal healthy relationship, there will always be fighting, and only through these arguments does a couple understand the differences, the likes and dislikes. What is not normal is when a relationship, be it couples or married becomes one sided. One partner has total control over the other mentally, physically and emotionally.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
