Senator David Mark Buries His Son Tunde Mark

Tunde Mark, the son of former Senate President David Mark, has been laid to rest in the Otukpo region of Benue State, at the family home.

Tunde, 51, lost his battle with cancer on October 21, 2022, in a hospital in London.

On November 9, the service of songs was conducted in Abuja to begin the burial rites.

The family and friends of the deceased brought his corpse to Otukpo for a wake on November 10.

The funeral was attended by Governor Samuel Ortom, Senator Abba Moro, Senate Minority Leader Philip Aduda, and his deputy, Benson Abonu.

Others in attendance were the former governor of Kogi, Idris Wada, former senators Suleman Adokwe and Lekan Mustapha, the bishop of the Otukpo Catholic Diocese, Michael Apochi, and Rev Innocent Jooji.

The Most Reverend Fr. Sylvester Onmonke exhorted the family in his sermon to have faith in God because only He has the power to give and take life.

Late Tunde was survived by His wife Natsu, daughter Audrey, parents and siblings.
