After Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido’s first baby, publicly apologized, many people criticized her in the comments section.
Agnesisikablog reported that Sophia Momodu wrote a birthday tribute to her father on behalf of her daughter.
Imade’s birthday wishes weren’t welcomed by many, as they dragged in a post that was described as “insensitive and downright evil” by her mother, Sophia Momodu.
It is worth noting that Sophia Momodu never recognized her Adeleke Ifeanyi in his life time on earth.
After being yanked for her insensitivity and exploiting a dead boy’s soul, Sophia Momodu sincerely apologized to all when she said the intention of the post was different than what netizens understood it.
Sophia, who reportedly never called Davido for his comfort, swiped on Ifeanyi’s death and guide Imade through the difficult feelings of losing her brother.
She wrote: I realize that the earlier post may come across as insensitive and I sincerely apologize as that was not the intention.
Imade deeply loves her father and all her siblings, and as a mother, I’m doing my best to guide her through the difficult emotion of grief. from the loss of her brother whilst trying to celebrate her father’s birthday.
I ask for your consideration and hope that you all can be understanding during these times. Thank you”.
Her apology, however didn’t sit well with many Nigerians as they tagged it ‘medicine after death’.
