Popular gospel musician Sammy Okposo has died at the age of 51.
This was announced by a source close to the musician. Okposo collapsed and died Friday morning, he said.
The development comes about 15 hours after the musician posted a throwback photo from Sammy Okposo’s praise party to his verified Instagram page on Thursday. Details of his death are vague at the time of filing this report.
Sammy Okposo, born May 30, 1971, was an international Nigerian gospel he artist. He was also a music producer, psalmist and CEO of Zamar Entertainment. He released his first album, Addicted, in 2004.
