A female student’s performance at Babcock University Fresher’s Fair was interrupted midway by authorities over disapproval of what she wore.
In a video which has been circulating online, the singer can be seen performing live in front of an attentive and cheering audience.
Soon afterwards, a lady approaches her and requests that the DJ turn off the music.
After they took her off the stage, there was some commotion as the lady and several members of the school personnel surrounded her.
Students yelled at the authorities saying, “go away” as they were displeased by the interruption.
Another person could be heard saying, “It doesn’t make sense.”
Students who posted the video online claim that the school disapproved of the performer’s clothing.
She performed while wearing a sleeveless shirt and baggy pants.
