I Am Mentally And Physically Fit To Restore Nigeria’s Glory – Obi

Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi appealed to Nigerians not to hand over the affairs of a sick country to a physically or mentally unfit president.

Campaigning in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state on Saturday, Obi told state residents that he was mentally and physically fit to restore Nigeria’s lost glory.

He advised Nigerians to ask about the background of anyone seeking to vote in next month’s election.

At the location of the rally, Freedom Park in Osogbo, Obi urged his supporters to get their permanent voter cards and vote for the old regime that destroyed the country.

The former Governor of Anambra State visited City Hall with members of the Nigerian Labor Council and Labor Council. Candidates also met with a group of young people and women on February 25, and his wife Margaret advised women and young people to prioritize future interests over immediate interests when choosing candidates.

Labor vice-presidential candidate Datty Baba Ahmed also said Obi Datty’s government would use economic, legal and diplomatic strategies to address the £77 trillion debt owed by the current government, while A wave of support for their joint ticket is just beginning.

Amid some criticism, Obi has remained unapologetic about his efforts to shore up the state coffers before his exit as Anambra governor in 2014.
