Louis Vuitton, the flagship brand of LVMH, announced on Tuesday that it has chosen American Pharrell Williams to oversee the artistic direction of its menswear designs. This high-profile post was filled by a well-known member of the music business.

According to sources in the Wall Street Journal and Le Figaro, Williams would take Virgil Abloh’s place in the position that has been vacant since Abloh passed from cancer in November 2021.

The brand announced that Williams’ debut line for the company will be displayed in June in Paris during Men’s Fashion Week.
