Actress, film producer and politician Funke Akindele has launched a public campaign across Nigeria ahead of the general elections this weekend.
Since she served as the Deputy Governor candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Funke Akindele’s peers, including her close friend Eniola Badmus, have been politically divided over their support for her preferred presidential and gubernatorial nominations.
Eniola congratulated Funke on her appointment, but the two kept their distance on social media, especially in posts supporting the candidate.
Funke Akindele has now shared a video on Instagram, educating her fans on how to vote for her party at the coming election.
The mother of two detailed the right way and approach to make a valid vote for her party.
“The general elections are finally here!!
Yes, we’ve all been sensitized on how important it is for us to vote wisely at a time like this, however, it is also imperative that we all are properly educated on how to make our votes count without errors.
