Justin Bieber Officially Cancels Remainder Of Justice World Tour

The remaining dates of Justin Bieber’s Justice world tour have been formally canceled due to previous health problems.

Because of his prolonged Ramsay Hunt syndrome recuperation, the Canadian musician (age 29) has had to repeatedly postpone his world tour.

One of the 60 causes of facial palsy, or facial paralysis as it is known in the US, is Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS), which is brought on by viral reactivation.

The remainder of the tour’s dates, including numerous in the US, Australia, and Europe, were confirmed to be canceled on Tuesday via a post on the tour’s official Twitter page.

The tour made over $55 million in income over the past year, but fans vented their disappointment online because they were still waiting for their previously promised reimbursements.

The official cancellations follow Bieber’s initial announcement that the tour would be delayed owing to his RHS diagnosis, which he made public in June of last year.

He declared a comeback to the road in July but postponed gigs again in September to “make my health a priority”.

At the time, Bieber said that gigs in Europe had “taken a big toll on me” and he needs more time to “relax and get better”.

To “take time to rest and get better,” Bieber stated in September that he was postponing the remaining dates of his world tour, which began in February 2022. Through 2023, the tour was supposed to perform 70 shows.

“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me,” Bieber wrote at the time. “So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be OK.”

Bieber isn’t the first well-known musician to openly justify canceling live engagements by pointing to their health and the psychological strain of touring and performing.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
