Governor Soludo Casts His Vote, Commends INEC For Early Commencement Of Election

Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for starting the voting process early in the state.

At around 11:30 a.m., Governor Soludo gave the commendation at Polling Unit 002 Ovuiyi Umueze, Isuofia, Aguata Council Area.

“I have collected opinions from different parts of the state based on the information I have access to, and things appear to be going fairly smoothly in terms of the deployment of logistics and the early start of the election. In terms of the arrival and distribution of materials, I believe there has been a significant improvement since the previous election. It appears to be going well and is generally calm”. Gov. In addition to saying that voter turnout is lower than in the previous election, the Governor, who expressed optimism that the will of the people will prevail, urged ndi Anambra to go out and fulfill their civic duties by casting a ballot.
