Deacon Who Beat Woman To Stupor Claims He “Was Under A Spell”

Kelvin Iorfa, a deacon of one of the churches in Benue State, has attributed a recent physical assault on a lady to a “spiritual attack.”

Recall that a video went viral recently where Iorfa was seen berating a woman.

The deacon was seen in the video beating the woman who was allegedly his younger sister with a belt. The young woman later passed out as seen in the footage. Widespread criticism of the video resulted in numerous calls for his arrest. Iorfa was then captured by men from the Benue State Police Command.

He said he was “surprised” to see himself beating his younger sister in the viral video.

His arrest was confirmed to DAILY POST on Tuesday morning by Catherine Anene, the public relations officer for the Benue State Police.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
