Jonathan Onoja Isaac, an Abuja-based public affairs expert, has reminded men in his village, Otukpa, the headquarters of Benue State’s Ogbadibo Local Government Area, of their land’s established values and customs.
The Otukpa people are recognized for their traditions, one of which is the worship of alekwu (god of justice), which translates to “ancestor spirit.”
It is stated that the alekwu has the authority to punish anyone who violates local customs, including abortion and extramarital affairs. Alekwu also punishes men who pay abortion fees.
Mr Jonathan stated on his Facebook page on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, that two Otukpa sons died early, while others were brought home for purification over the weekend.
He then outlined ten commandments that the sons of Otukpa should follow.

“Attention: All Otukpa Sons Across the globe. HOW the mighties are falling…Between Traditions And Civilisations, which is the safest?
“It has come to our notice, how some of our great men and youths from the otukpa kingdom are falling prey to the oza room set up by Delilahs in the name of civilization in marriages and friendships.
“It’s so touching how these men are dying prematurely because of enjoyment that they never lasted for an hour before coming home in an ambulance. Due to this development, I wish to read out the riot act again to avoid I ”am not Awia”
“Don’t be deceived, two (2) are already down, and two others were brought home for cleansing over the weekend, but like you know, once a dog has licked an oil from the plate, no matter what you do, he will just be lapping the mouth and wangling the tongue.
“Here are the 10 Commandments.
- Thou shall not give head.
- Thou shall not give shi-shi to your wife or assist wife with abortion
- Thou shall not be bathing with your wife in the bathroom
4’Thou shall not suspect your wife of extramarital affairs except you have strong evidence to do so, and once you do, send her home for the needful… - Thou shall not use cndm with your wife
- Thou shall not do doggy
- Thou shall not do family planning.
- Thou shall not touch your wife in the afternoon, all chickens must take position first,
- And thou shall not touch your wife again once the cock has crowed in the morning.
- Thou shall not bring any foreign deities home, in fact, you will not even cross the ikpewu annya with itself.”
“Keep these rules and continue to enjoy the fruit of thy labour. We are aware of the fact that some of your wives and assistant wives are since complaining about how boring you are, but you can buy them fish and new clothes instead to keep them happy than giving head.
