Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, often known as Kizz, is a Nigerian artist and songwriter. Daniel has admitted that he can’t record songs while he is sober.
Kizz revealed this during a question-and-answer session on his X account on Wednesday, March 6, when he also explained why he continued to smoke while declaring he had quit.
“Can you stop smoking VADO?” A fan asked to which Kizz Daniel responded, “Not that easy my bro, I’m trying.”
When asked if he could stop drinking as well, he wrote: “No I can’t. I can’t record sober. I love my family but it can be boring sometimes.”
Drinking is an emotional thing. It joggles you out of the standardism of everyday life, out of everything being the same. It yanks you out of your body and your mind and throws you against the wall. I have the feeling that drinking is a form of suicide where you’re allowed to return to life and begin all over the next day. It’s like killing yourself, and then you’re reborn. I guess I’ve lived about ten or fifteen thousand lives now.
