Man Claims Talking Stage Is An Emotional Scam

A Nigerian man in the United Kingdom is in misery after spending over £2k on his talking stage partner without making any progress towards a relationship.

The young man resorted to his X account, formerly known as Twitter, @onayemi315, to vent his frustration.

In his tweet, he stated that they had been at the Talking stage since January and that he had spent a lot of money on gifts in response to her demands.

Despite his endless generosity, his love interest has refused to give him a time of day or reciprocate his feelings.

His tweet reads;

“Talking stage is emotional scam. I involved myself in one since January and I have spent over £2k, on gifts, important and urgent £100 like 6six times. I ask auntie how far? She said she’s still studying me and I ask what of if I failed. Auntie replied everyone will find there way”

Reacting to the post….

@Ayoappeal wrote: “She’s not into you bro, that’s the honest truth, you are not a course that should take months to study, that’s why people talk to 2 or more people, there’s no time to waste with failed investment”

@ngzhipsy commented: “Talking stage since January and this is April… what are you people talking ???????”

Personally I feel the purpose of talking stage is to have the opportunity to get to know someone before committing to a relationship with them but it should not take time before you make your decision.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
