Kidnappers Abduct Company MD And Three Foreigners

Three Lebanese people and the managing director of the Fouani Company were kidnapped by unidentified gunmen on Friday, June 14, while going by boat in Lagos state.

Punch claims that the victims’ names have not yet been confirmed, but it has been discovered that they were kidnapped as they travelled from Apapa to Victoria Island, maybe around the Falomo Bridge.

The kidnappers had contacted and demanded a ransom, according to a source with knowledge of the incident who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the situation.

“Yesterday (Friday) evening, the Managing Director of Fouani company (LG and Hisense) and three Lebanese were kidnapped around Falomo Bridge while traveling from Apapa to Victoria Island by boat. The kidnappers have asked for $1.5m,” the source said.

The development was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, upon being contacted.

“Yes, it is true. We got the report and we are looking into it. Please, I’m not obliged to state more than that. I’m not obliged to state the names, when, where and how it happened for now but we are looking into it.” he said.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
