Stefflon Don, a British hip-hop artist, has shared her insights from her breakup with Damini Ogulu, a Nigerian singer better known as Burna Boy.
In 2021, Steff and the self-proclaimed African Giant announced their breakup, having dated for more than two years. After meeting in Ghana, the famous pair made their romance public in 2019.
In an interview with Dose of Society, the rapper talked about how she’s become more self-aware and emphasized the value of effective communication in a partnership.
The interviewer asked: “What did you learn from your last heartbreak?”
Stefflon Don replied: “To like express yourself a bit more. Express your feelings. Express your concerns.”
Interviewer: “What made you realised that?”
Stefflon Don: “By having a conversation again and I realised that the person just misunderstood a lot of things.”
Meanwhile, the music star recently addressed the possibility of rekindling her relationship with the Grammy winner, Burna Boy.
I think heartbreak is something you learn to live with as opposed to learn to forget.
