On the occasion of his 60th birthday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a heartfelt homage to Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos, calling him a respected colleague and dependable friend.
As a public servant, Dr. Hamzat made extraordinary contributions to the growth of Lagos State and Nigeria. President Tinubu recognized his efforts in a special homage delivered by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
“Dr. Hamzat’s technical expertise, forward-thinking leadership, and steadfast dedication to public service have been evident throughout his career,” Tinubu said.
“His leadership has set a benchmark for governance and infrastructure development that continues to serve as a model for public service across Nigeria,” the President noted.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tinubu described Hamzat as a man of great integrity, humility, and compassion.
“His dedication to the welfare of the citizenry and ability to inspire others have left an indelible mark on the state and nation,” he said.
