Manchester United Sign Nigerian Wonderkid Chido-Obi Martin

Chido Obi-Martin, the Danish-Nigerian sensation, left Arsenal in the summer and has already finalized his transfer to Manchester United, one of the biggest teams in the Premier League.

With 32 goals in 18 games, Obi-Martin broke the club record for the most goals scored by an Arsenal U18 player in a single season and made a big impression in the U18 Premier League last season. He scored ten goals against Liverpool in one game.

Academy Scoop, the master of Manchester United’s young team, claims that the dual-national striker is now officially a Manchester United player.

The Premier League formally informed the Red Devils on Friday, September 27, that the lengthy process of confirmation for the transfer of former Arsenal sensation Chido Obi-Martin had been concluded.

Obi-Martin had previously undergone a normal medical check and signed a contract before the Premier League’s five-step evaluation was completed on Friday morning.

The five-step review is a procedure of examination that occurs prior to registering any academy player.

Arsenal made every effort to keep Obi-Martin, offering him a scholarship and later a professional contract, but Obi-Martin chose to move on to the next chapter of his career.

The Denmark U18 international, who may play for either Nigeria or England, has joined Manchester United on a scholarship and will sign professional contracts when he turns 17 in November 2024.

Obi-Martin’s arrival to United represents a tremendous transfer coup for the team, as they hold off competition from Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, and Newcastle United.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
